The other issue that isn't brought up is this -- say that AI does everything they it's supposed to do and somehow everything ends up fine: What happens when a catastrophe occurs, and our Internet or electrical grid goes down? Suddenly you have a whole population that wouldnt be able to function without AI, bc all the knowledge is in AI. Then we have a new dark ages, except this one possibly is longer bc this time the knowledge wasn't kept in the middle east while Europe went dark.
