I can’t think of a single example where people trying to stop their jobs being replaced by automation has actually worked. Obviously there will still be human artists but I expect AI art generators to take a sizeable portion of the market. It’s sad but no matter how much they protest the public’s desire for cheaper stuff always seems to win out in the end.
