This isn’t true, American companies are outsourcing to foreign countries and blaming ai and no longer hiring entry level positions in the US. Ai is pure hype and in 95% of cases hasn’t had any effect on company profits but it serves as a great cover for what they are actually doing which is outsourcing tech jobs since working from home and Covid made them realise they could get someone half way around the world working from home for a 10th of the price.
