I have an older 2018 Model S, and there have been 4 situations where the car took control of my vehicle due to its automatic collision detection. Every time it veered in a way that looks EXACTLY like this. In my particular cases it was late responding to sudden changes in freeway speed that had already been safely resolved and in every one nearly caused accidents. Ive asked Tesla to disable that feature entirely but they wouldn’t do it. Ive also filed several bug reports with them.
Watching this reminds me of the horror of those moments when my model S turned a fairly normal traffic situation into a multi car pile up stealing the control of the vehicle from my control.
My vehicle IS NOT EQUIPPED WITH FSD. This seems to me more like the automatic collision detection feature which does torque the wheel from what I recall.
