There’s a big difference though from today and years ago. Years ago your boss bought a machine to make the job easier throw you on there told you to pull a couple levers and your job got easier. People were able to adapt to the changes. Today we’re talking about completely replacing jobs not simply upgrading the tools. The tools are becoming the workers and even if you do have a stable job who’s gonna buy your products when the other 30 or 40% are out of work. You’re talking about many many years ago when computers were very basic and weren’t a real threat. We’re not comparing apples to apples here. The IT guy that walks around and configures routers and switches in a company is being replaced by master controller that an AI can instantly configure 500 routers in a matter of one second through virtualization and automation.
