Personally, I don't mind AI art at all. There's lots you can do with it beyond having something nice to look, which is generally it's only value, in that it can provide things like reference images. Unfortunately, not all generated images look good, and it's bad when you try to find something good or even something made by an actual person and it's just nothing but subpar slop.
My real issue with it is when people try to claim it's art they made by hand, or worse, try to even monetize it.
