Some of them do get permission, just gotta research into which ones do and which don't. Even then, using AI art as a inspiration or reference for certain things makes more sense then using AI art as art.
Found one on perchance of all places, that looks nice enough to use for clothing reference / inspiration. Cause I can't see clothing in my head and actual clothing references aren't great imo (or I haven't found any that work for me). As a bonus, ai isn't held back by fashion sense or anything- so it makes some wacky clothing choices and designs. Which is wonderful.
AI is a tool, so I use it as a tool.
For context: im not pro-ai, but im not anti-ai either. I think both sides are dumb: ai needs rules to avoid selling ai images or claiming as your own, but it's just a tool and fun thing to mess around with. No amount of crying is going to get rid of it.
