When techbros advocate for generative AI by claiming that it's "liberating" art, it's truly laughable. Genuine artists don't limit themselves to their own skill level, but to their own level of emotional investment for the craft itself. A child with a box of crayons who loves to doodle will always be more of an artist than these people. Art to artists is not just a hobby, but a part of how we perceive life. We value art for how it builds us, not for how it builds "power" like many of these "enthusiasts" truly want.
