Deep fakes and AI technology will make it so any video or audio clip of any nature will not be trustworthy. I can see this being exploited by the establishment to keep people in line, and then a flurry of actual fake news. CNN or FOX news can now say whatever you want them to say. I hope this will cause the average person to be more skeptical and critically consume media, but I doubt that will happen. We'll probably just keep bouncing from one outrageous story to the next like we currently do, perpetually outraged and confused.
