Make no mistake. Automated trucks are the future. Drivers will need to become technicians to stay employed. This revolution won't be mainstream for at least another decade. It will be like the computer, first almost nobody had them, then many, now nearly everyone has one. They will improve the infrastructure to the point they will operate safer than any human driver.
