I have to disagree with you Bill and as an IT practicioner since the beginning, aka, through your ENTIRE trajectory, there has been MANY times I’ve disagreed with you and your companies practices. However, I do agree with many things you’ve said and stood for. This one? COMPANIES, TECH LEADERS, need to think through WHAT PROBLEMS / AREAS they throw this at. THAT’s the bottom line. AI could very well fix and assist us in solving a great many extremely difficult problems. However, we are about to witnessed it thrown at the wall INDISCRIMINATELY at EVERYTHING and HEREIN LIES THE PROBLEM AND YES I AM SCREAMING IT. Directing what will be the most powerful creation we have ever seen at EVERYTHING is dangerous beyond comprehension. We are on the cusp of seeing the most dystopian future imaginable if that is done. Thank you for your time.
