I absolutely hate ai. But I also don't know how to exactly feel about it. The problem is that my cousin is trying to make a board game by himself but he doesn’t have the time or money to get real artist to help him so he uses ai. Now every time I see his board game I have a twist in my gut like. I wanna support him but it just goes against my own morals. He is still testing his idea with my family and others and I'm not sure what his plan forward is. (I think he might later pay an artist to redraw the stuff but I think I still wouldn’t feel good about the game). But like I don't know I feel bad for not wanting to support him but also as an artist (and idk human!?) I see that ai can take away my dreams for a future career and all the other bad effects it has on the environment, people who use it, the world we live in ect. I just feel bad ˙◠˙. (For context my cousin is an adult with a job, a wife and 3 kids) Can someone help me get an outside perspective on this?
