i like generative AI maily because with the press of a button i can have a good laugh with friend, i'am not an artist, but yeah the joy of creation is very important (making a working orbital simulation in python is nice).
Maybe AI art can help to generate source material you don't have the skill to do and the time to learn for a project where you use your creativity in other part, or just use the AI artefact to create art like using JPEG compression artefact aesthetic.
