You’re spot on about the Anthropic CEO being biased and promoting AI in a way that is overblown. AI is helpful, but the limited context and the amount of bug fixes I need to do with it makes it frustrating beyond small code samples. AI is powerful in helping you understand how to use a new API that lacks documentation. But it has diminishing returns after the code sample becomes longer. My frustrating goes up the longer the code sample that AI works on, because it breaks unrelated features or writes brittle code without explicit prompting (which isn’t what I typically speak out loud, I just know to do it from my own “context”)
