34:03 the leap from nobody being able to predict the future to saying that there is no reason why we can't have some degree of control over AI is difficult to swallow. Assuming a good outcome in the face of high uncertainty is not a rational strategy for maximizing our survival. Taking proactive steps to mitigate the risks we can foresee is. Some degree of control is far from an adequate level of safety with regards to less dangerous technologies like bridges and planes.
