That scenario is indeed farfetched, because of a simple truth: humans (and human-led boards= need someone to blame when things go wrong. Hece the quote "A computer can never be held accountable, therefore a computer must never make a management decision" from IBM.
Sure, AI can (and will) replace entry-level jobs, but there will always be managers that take the blame if/when things go south.
