That comment you showed truly shows how backwards the "AI Artist" mindset is. I don't WANT art from people that don't consider art worth their time to learn and improve at. Art is not just about "looking good", its about passion, emotion, hard work, and human connection, and that goes from every kind of art at every skill level.
Art is important. Clearly it is important, because so many people and companies are spending years of development and stealing thousands and thousands of pieces of art just to emulate it. It should be made by the people that treat it as important. Otherwise, what is the point?
