I’ve met so many people who seem to want to learn how to draw, but when you try to teach them they immediately give up and say it wasn’t meant to be, meanwhile they can play a sport, cook or write perfectly fine, and it never crossed their mind that, at one point, they actually had to practice that too! I hold sympathy for the people who keep at it, even if they don’t end up enjoying art, but the ones who immediately give up and resort to generative AI are pathetic. Expecting the same praise from doing that is like parking near the end of a race, running over the finish line, and expecting the same praise as people who ran the whole way!
