Just look at the USA, which is profoundly divided in 2 with each camp claiming having the best values or morals than the other. Now extend that to all countries, cultures, religions, … are we all aligned on what happening between Israel and Gaza? So again what preference are you trying to align AI with, when we human are so divided and not able to align ourselves.
