I had to start with temp and part-time jobs before finally getting full-time jobs. Even then, I had to change jobs every 1-2 years. Personally, it should never be that hard. The job economy in larger cities has been far from optimal. AI can actually make recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and job matching easier, faster, and, most importantly, help candidates learn how to get hired more often, regardless of their experience or degree. In the worst cases, you may have to move to another city or state to get the right job. HR managers and other staff just aren't getting the attention they deserve; they and hiring managers need so much training to make the right decisions and avoid furloughs, layoffs, firings, and other forms of turnover. Some of those economic impacts you can't blame on your employer, but good upper management (all the way to the top) ultimately figure out how to mostly avoid or survive a bad job economy. A company's high staff retention should be a major PR win for the rest of its local economy; they should treat it the way a University advertises its graduation rates.
