It's already too late... What most fail to realize is that we are the frog in the pot and the heat is slowly rising around us. Cell phones, vehicle electronics, Flock cameras, residential camera monitoring, and Alexa/Siri have been been collecting on us for years. AI is the final step in the process. Although the "government" may not directly collect, they have the work around to use the commercial available services (think Google) to collect and monitor customers information and gather it indirectly from these services. AI will just neatly bundle the information and be able to provide a finished assessment or intelligence packet on anyone.
