AI will be smarter than the smartest human at some point
AI will be able to improve itself via re-coding its algorithm to the point no human can control it with programing
It will be connected to the internet
it creates a virus, spreads across the entire net and copies itself across most computers / networks
the entire internet is infected
we either turn off and destroy all computer equipment and start over or AI will continuing doing whatever it wants
There are a lot of positives outcomes to AI taking over the world though, so long as we can live with not being in control.
