Neil’s point on AI is on point. AI is not a revolutionary technology, it is part of the ICT technological revolution: can’t have AI without cloud, can’t have cloud without computers, can’t have computers without microprocessors - all part of the same era/revolution. As the dominant technology replaces the previous one (as ICT replaces mass production) and assimilates across all economies, the effect is exponential.
