I know in any times it was hard. Grandparents were born in 30th in USSR, their fathers died in war, same for older brothers, someone died in 40th because of lack of medicine and food. My parents were born in early 60th and till late 80th they were fine, but then Soviet Union collapsed and my mother was pregnant by second child - me, we had to live in room 3*4 meters as 4 persons. My father had to learn how to survive, he learned computer networks and apply knowledge in growing banking sector securing future for us.then we have crisis in end of 90th, in 2008. Then I start working and deposit my money in local currency and after Russia invasion of Ukraine hryvna collapsed 4 times so I lost my fortune that I generated for 5 years. Then 2022, full scale war + AI threatening every single job. We have one child, we would like to have second, but I just can't predict future to make a decision
