I lost my job to outsourcing in the first quarter of 2024. Companies are doing anything and everything they can to save a couple dollars despite consistently making massive profits. It is disgusting and disheartening.
I wanted to try to change careers, but what's the point? Everything I want to do is going to be done by AI before I can even learn enough to get a job.
Shit is gonna get real fucking bad over the next few years.
There are a lot of valid things AI could be super useful for, but instead it is being used to cut corners and make sub-par content just so a company can save some money.
