i think it is idiotic to think that real world connections will continue with ai options. an ai companion can be whatever you wan, the idealized version of a person, they can do no wrong. Humans on the other hand cannot be molded to whoever you want, you cant control them, they are selfish beings. With so many people hyper focused on social media and influencers this is essentially giving them that relationship that they crave. Mark Zuckerberg should acknowledge this fact especially since he knows his own app isn't about human connection anymore.
I think this is sad. I think its upsetting to know the direction of where our lives will be and i just wish we could go back in time before ai, before the internet, before money was ever a thing and just experience life as it was meant to live. We need to get back to our roots and connect with the world around us.
