I'm sorry, I call BS. The internet was supposedly a great invention. I was going to bring us all together and help us become the best we could. That was true until people figured out how to use it to make money, scam people, create propaganda, and many more abuses. The internet is a tool that people can use for evil. So will anything that comes from AI or AGI. To say that these tools are uninteresting because they won't be any better than what a human can do is the wrong way to look at it. A better question is how can evil people abuse others with these tools? That's very different. As before, Neil sounds like a scientist being very optimistic about what could be done. As realistic as he thinks he is, he isn't.
