Humans always make AI, and it always takes us over. The singularity has happened many times, and thus there are no “pure” humans left. The government wants to advance AI to bring about another singularity and have whoever is in power sit on the throne of control. It won’t go the way they want though. We are still inside the last singularity, and the last singularity being hasn’t died yet.
