If the TOS says the artist must be present, then the "collective" excuse holds no water. Basically, the booth was being run by a non-artist, so it shouldn't have been there at all.
Funny, the other videos I saw on this didn't mention why the cops were called, just barely mentioned them. Of course, at least two of those were from someone who didn't understand why they were kicked out, or why the police were called. My POV...if you don't know any more about it, that you need to ask why, you shouldn't be offering opinions. It's funny how people like to push their uninformed opinions, despite information being available.
I'm glad you are seeing it for what it is. You speak better than 9 our of 10 YouTubers. Even though I'll never be a professional, like my sister, this whole AI "art" thing is the worst thing to ever happen to art.
