When Ezra suggested AI do peoples' taxes, I had a "the American mind cannot comprehend" moment.
It made think about how it's done so much simpler in so many European countries. In Sweden, the tax authority just shows you their numbers and you go "yup. Looks right.", sign digitally, and you're done.
The US doesn't need more AI, they need more modernized and interconnected systems. Until they get that in place, middlemen will be skimming money off of everything and monetizing things that should just not even be a thing... Unfortunately.
