Here's the truth about A.I.: It wasn't created because the developers wanted to create a computer that can draw. If computers could actually draw something unique and in a style unique to itself, that would be hella awesome. But that's not why they were made. The sole purpose of A.I. devs creating this art A.I. is to automate the art-making process so they can use it to make money. That's it. Of course, they do this by training their AI on human art and making no effort not to steal. They could have made a partnership that benefitted both sides, 'hey, lemme use your art to train my AI and then you get a percentage anytime a paying customer uses your art in a generation'. But they don't care about the art or artist, not really. As with the rise and fall of NFT's, AI art is yet another thing made by people who either do not like artists or don't care about them and just want to use them to make a quick buck. As an artist i see the full potential of these tools, but as long as people go at them from a capitalistic point of view. They will always do more harm than good.
