I have been spending the last few years training to be a graphic designer and now I hear about this ai and I know that by the time I am trying to get employed our jobs might be gone and life long training for that means nothing and I will have nothing, artists are only now starting to understand how serious this is now that we know it could be affecting our jobs and we are all scared this may be the end, which is horrible and there needs to be something done about it and I’m not trying to offload this to others but if we can all try and put a lot of thought into it and share our ideas to combat this legal ai stuff than we will stop it, and to those reading this who are on the defence of ai art, think about this; us as artists are sad because are jobs and future are on the line and we are trying to stop that so first of all please stop with all the comments saying how “we can’t stop the inevitable” because if as humans we all thought like that we would be dead. And second of all think of your profession, what do you do, and think how if we allow ai industries to keep taking our copyrighted info, how can ai take your job, because it really can, any and I mean ANY job, for instance, architecture, it just takes info of buildings and the current trends and statistics like that and uses images of the internet to the same as art copy them and make buildings that are popular at that time then boom, all those people studying architecture, gone. Think of accountants, just takes info of the internet like everything else, calculates statistics , and equations with no errors and boom, accountants gone. Name any profession and with in minutes you will be able to think of how ai can and will put you out of your job, so don’t shoot your self in the foot because ai art seems kind of cool, we all need to stand together and stop this before ai takes our jobs, I’m begging you.
