Governments are going to have to have a universal basic income. It’s the only answer I can think of. Taxes on big companies must go up in relation to jobs lost by them using AI. (But they won’t do this 🤯) Building isn’t safe. They have robot built houses basically 3D printed. This could be good if the people loosing jobs had a realistic income after being sacked. UBI has to happen. The oligarchs are taking over. Where it will eventually hit them if they don’t introduce UBI. Example… Amazon? Mass job losses, including what they themselves have instigated?? Eventually, people will stop buying “stuff” which will hurt them. Intelligence is not what runs the planet. Idiots and people that shout loud about things they have no clue about? Rich people plus businessmen men only interested in profit percentages increasing. Add banks that actually run the country. Im ok, I’m 57 and not likely to hit 60 due to health. So many jobs, first office, they will go. Then slowly over about 5-6 years? Manual labour as AI takes over plus 3D printing house technology. Maybe integration of wiring and plumbing into the building process? It will happen. Im glad you are basically saying similar as I am typing and listening. UBI would give most people a chance to try things and businesses. (I answered correctly the compost heap; straight away btw lol) The thing is??? UBI it HAS TO BE!!!!!!! A comfortable living wage. Not a punishment, you might survive wage. The whole process needs a total re think. Binning all old thoughts. Companies MUST!! Be taxed on the labour lost by their AI integration. This to cover a UBI. This has to be global also. It has to be well above what is paid now as a living wage. At least double. But…. There would be no disability, unemployment, no other benefits. Just UBI If you want to earn more? No restrictions, you can do as you like to make extra money in niche markets etc. hopefully you might find my thoughts interesting?
