Welfare meaning money for no worthwhile work creates entitled,lazy, often angry low moral people. That is already known! Meaning those that want to live their lives that way being taken care of for free by other peoples work! They often get empowered to take advantage of people in many other ways. This is why there is so much welfare fraud wherever it is! Universal basic income for free, no community work required to get it, is a massive mistake and will create a monstrous group of people who will end up demanding more and more. Their dignity requires they earn what they get somehow! Just my opinion from what ai have seen and I am not saying all people end up that way. Many work hard to become self sufficient as well.
