You just gave the absolute best refutation of pro-generative AI arguments I've yet to hear. The same can be said for writers and musicians! How true that it isn't a matter of being somehow born with blue blood. Sure some people DO have great initial talent, inborn, but not most of us. Good writers become good writers by writing. Musicians by playing. Composers by composing. And we deny ourselves an enriching, deeply human experience when we use AI to cough up music, writing, visual art, or even computer code, rather than going through the process of learning the skills and mastering the craft. We rob OURSELVES by using AI, thinking it's a shortcut to creativity.
