I think AI art supporters completely lack media literacy. It doesn't seem to occur to them that artistic creations have a deliberate point behind them. The artist has something to say with their art. AI is literally incapable of having a point behind the art that it makes. It's entirely surface level, which I guess is why AI art stans like it: because their entire understanding of art is surface level. It's just colours and sounds to them.
