@15:40 Well to be fair Steve Jobs was also a manipulative abusing lair, Steve Wozniak was actually the engineer who made the Apple I/II computers not Steve Jobs (even back when Steve Jobs "worked" at Atari, he took advantage of Wozniak's good nature manipulating him to his work for him while lying about how much he was going to earn from it to under pay Wozniak's leg work). Nothing Steve Jobs did with Apple was new! 6502 based home computers existed before Apple computers, the GUI already existed before Steve Jobs saw it on a tour and stole it, mp3 players existed before Ipods, smartphones existed before iphones. So comparing him to Sam Altman is fair, at this point I have distant for both of them. @21:08 Oh so is that why these companies keep imagining LLMs are going to become AGI? I'm in more the cybernetic school of thought with feedback loop mechanisms and if you want to scale consciousness you need to track how many feedback loops it contains (eg a thermometer might have 1 unit while a flower might have say 10 units, though to be clear consciousness and intelligence I feel are different things though despite her saying we don't have a way to measure intelligence IQ tests are surprisingly good markers for intelligence in people though humans have a very specific intelligence which isn't the only option), so I feel LLM are an evolutionary brain-dead dead end that is breaking a lot of things in the process of finding out they are completely useless.
