So, a few days ago, I was applying the final clear coat on a half log home. This is after having several social interactions with the homeowners. Discussing with them the options on protecting their new home they purchased and what aesthetic they were looking for and the process in which we could approach it. None of any of that was a burden. I was able to connect with other profession companies and their people because of simply applying myself into the environment. The media blaster came and stripped the house. He replaced 2 whole sides of the siding. Beautiful work. He did chinking and sanding and just amazing work. I then came and applied 2 coats of stain and 2 coats of UV protectant. On this final coat, this final day, I heard a hawk call from a distance. I stopped and look up, just in time, to see this hawk in a blue sky just beyond the tree line at the end of the very faint rainbow. Almost as it the hawk was leaving a jet stream behind itself. You'll never experience that moment on a computer. Never behind a desk. Never with a prompt. That feeling of success. That feeling of once in a lifetime after a well fought and earned battle of my own 100 percent and then being gratified by nature with that heartbeat of a moment.... That's why I'll never understand why people are so worried about AI. Why invest into something so useless. The people ruining our world can't make their greedy money if people quit buying useless garbage. Go out and live. See the beauty in the wood grain as you make it timeless. Hear the hawk's holler of approval as it rides the rainbow to tomorrow. Make those human connections and professional bonds together. Stop buying the useless and live
