You know what, I'm extremely pro AI art, I believe it will have a huge impact in the future (unlike your NFT examples). I like to think these models somewhat capture the Zeitgeist of mankind. But now that I learned about Nightshade, I'm also extremely pro Nightshade. If you don't want your art used to train the models, poison it away!! That's so smart! Like, it should be obvious that any artist can opt-out of training data, and if the corporations are not respecting I think everyone has the right to poison the data set. Also, as with any tech, is just a matter of time until someone jailbreaks nightshade. But it's also a matter of time until someone makes a nightshade v2 that's way harder to jailbreak. I guess that's the beauty of it, society fights it out and somehow we end up in a better place then we started. Human art will never cease to exist because human inherently wants to express ourselves, and AI art somehow let most of the people (even the ones who didn't have any training) express themselves. That's whyI think both human art and ai art ares so powerful and neither will go away anytime soon. So "real" artists will for sure always exist and we will always have demand for human handcraft work, just like you pointed out in the video with the orange wheat fields, because it means something different. The same way someone who lacks the skill can make amazing work with AI art, as long it contains real work and real soul, and it's not just a prompt and print.
