This video ignores the reality that AI is already imploding in the markets right on the heels of the collective discovery that AI is not getting better exponentially and is clearly coming up against the asymptote wall of being *able* to improve, not an exponential upward curve *of* improvement. It's basing assumption upon multiple layers of assumptions that are already being proven not to be true. There isn't going to be AGI because of the tech itself, but more importantly, because no matter *how smart AI becomes* it's always going to be limited by the tried and true concept that human garbage in = garbage out. I underwrite commercial insurance and my company realized almost immediately after trying to implement AI into underwriting that it's flatly impossible because getting detailed application answers is impossible to start with let alone the detailed company info you'd need beyond simple rating metrics to determine patterns that us humans haven't already figured out.
