Comment section needs to study history and eat some grass.
You people have access to so many technology and facility at cheaper price than you could ever imagine even 20 years ago. You wanna compare today's top products with 20 years ago top products without taking in consideration the product quality. Cellphones nowadays make much more things. Computers are a lot faster. Cars have much more security devices.
Talking about utopia having AI doing literally all jobs that exists in the world today. What that means? No one has ever to work again. And how we'd buy stuff? Earn money? You wouldn't have to! AI would be working for you to have your internet. Your food. Etc. If there is no need for humans to work so everything is free. The only key point about it is how things would be distributed throughout society. But you now can understand how machines as a whole doing more things is only beneficial for us just like every technology was.
Now this is utopia. What is most likely is a constant path to reach that utopia but never actually get that. We'd have nowadays products cheaper. Newer technologies. Improve of life conditions. But prices keeps getting higher specially groceries. Well try talk to your governament that keeps increasing the debt? Technology is always helpful. Governaments are useless.
