I would very, VERY hesitantly say that AI "picture generation" has a place in the commercial space. HOWEVER, ONLY if each and every person, who's image has been used and/or stored, gets not only credited by name but also gets a share of the profits - and I dont just mean professionals but also the millions of people who upload pictures. This is, imho, the only way how AI picture generation (and no, I'm not calling "art", thats an insult -.-) could in any way, shape or form be regarded as ethical.
