AI is not "inevitable" by any means, all it would take is an update to copyright law or a law restricting it's use in certain fields of work both things that aren't out of the realm of reality, in fact there's multiple ongoing lawsuits that could spawn these scenarios into a reality, btw is not just Towne that can make art using conventional means, 99% of artist can that's something they will always have over someone that just knows how to word a prompt, you'll never be seen as talented for knowing how to type.
