Chat is what ignorant people think smart sounds like. I ask Chat things and am like "oh, yeah, sounds good Chat". Then i ask Chat questions about my area of expertise... and the answers it comes back with are SO SO wrong but worded in a way that so obviously sounds so smart and right to people ignorant in the subject. I don't even understand how a LLM can be so dumb and so confident at the same time. It appears to mirror the internet it self. Confidently saying garbage, believing it, regurgitating said garbage, then it becomes "public knowledge" but its idiocy and everyone thinks they are smart......
