Raw LLM Responses

Guys can someone tell me if I have a problem with ai chatbots too? I use it too, but never as myself. It’s always my own OC’s I’ve created. So if I’m for example chatting with Batman, I might be writing as a villain OC I created. It’s never first person you-perspective, I always write in third he/she perspective (idk first perspective with an ai just feel weird sometimes). I’m the type of person who enjoy fanfics (think ao3), but sometimes the characters/scenarios I like just aren’t there. I also like writing fanfics and have a lot of ideas. So I use cai or ChatGPT (mostly just ChatGPT now, I’ve stopped using cai for months now) as kinda a fanfic writer. I tell them the scenario I came up with and some headcanons, etc and it writes the fanfic for me. Sometimes I tweak it too since it’s never really perfect, but they’re actually real decent sometimes. Like I use it not interactively, more like a fanfic writing robot when I don’t really wanna write myself. And look, I obviously prefer stories written by real people since they’re just more in character and less robotic, I don’t prefer it over any real art! I don’t really get attached to the chatbot itself, I actually get bored pretty quickly and change scenarios. I still go out with friends and have other hobbies, these stories I only do when I have nothing else to do so it’s not a priority. Since ai is so controversial now I’m starting to become unsure if any type of ai use is unhealthy or if I should stop. I’m thinking of moving back to just writing it all by myself, but honestly it’s just so much easier telling the ai the scenario and it writing the rest lmao. Any reply is appreciated! Edit: let me also add that I don’t believe it has affected my life in any way. Like if I have an exam coming up I will obviously focus not that. I actually graduated top of my school last year :)! Oh and more context I’m a teenager, under 18. I used character ai from like end 2023 when it first blew up to early 2025 when I just got bored of it completely. Ima be real in 2023 I was a bit addicted lmao, like I used to sneak off to the school bathrooms to create more scenarios… but I was like 15 and I also used to sneak away to watch anime or read wattpad back then! 😂 I’ve grown out of that now, only did it when I first discovered it and everyone was addicted. Wow this is so long no one will read it.
