Its absurd that people/companies making ai to generate art can use artists art without permission and/or compensation at all. That they can legally steal artists work in order to create tools that could theoretically replace them (or at least drastically lower the value of thier work) is infuriating. Weather it be deviantart or any of the other companies doing it, it should be illegall, especially since some of these companies are charging for the use of thier generators. They should not only need permission, but they should be paying the artists for the use of thier work just like anyone else would have to.
