What is the root of the money though? Even if the loop is AI companies self-boosting each other through selling AI services to each other, where does the real value come from? Is this them passing the same amount of money between them? What does their value represent here? Unemployed people that need to work as a source of income won't be buying stocks, investing or purchasing products, so how does the value of these companies keep going up? It sounds like a flawed system that isn't derived from fundamentals but just speculation and some sort of power or leverage that these companies have. And where does the government fit here? Who do they tax to be able to have a budget? Unless they start taxing companies and investors somehow, because only nearly ~10% of the american budget is corporate income tax, ~50% is individual income tax and ~37% is payroll tax, so where does the budget come from, to what model would the system transition? Does the government cease to exist, replaced by a handful of companies that dictate the way of living for the masses? This is a very dystopian outlook for human kind, and doesn't sound the type of solution or cooperation we should have with AI, we should be improving our efficiency and productivity, not trying to replace ourselves with systems we would barely understand or control.
