This is true. Any CEO has a fiduciary responsibility to the shareholders holders to increase profits as much as possible. CEO’s do actually have quite a hard job, not because they physically do anything complex, but because they need to be able recall large amounts of information and make decisions given that large amount of information, which is pretty well suited to AI. Mid-level jobs that require some combination of advanced skills and physical mobility would be much harder and more expensive to replace. Imagine not needing to hire and fire CEO’s that cost the company tens or hundreds of millions.
