A FANTASTIC (they all are) video about "Degrees of separation" shows that pretty much everything is necessarily interconnected within just six degrees of separation.
I believe the way deep learning uses 4th degree tensors allows us to find the correlations at an unprecedented rate at the expense of accuracy. Thats getting better and better.
