Raw LLM Responses

It's still very early. I am pretty sure we'll soon get the same kind of copyright protection as the music industry does. Similar stuff happened before the regulations for the music industry. My real concern is, even if these models are curated from completely copyright free, opted in, public domain and open source materials, (which is more than enough to do what it's meant to do) the problems just start. I understand, the most vocal people with lots of reach are concerned more with the copyright issues, because it's their name that's been used most of the time, but my main concern is, how can an artist compete with the volume of work that can be put out by AI? What about the guy who's fresh out of the art school and trying to break into the industry? I can see most new art jobs turning into clean-up gigs for AI generated images, drawing the right number of fingers to the concept art, without any chance to really express themselves (and that could very well not be needed, given a couple more years). I have no idea how to protect the rights of the human artists at that point and I think we need to discuss that part even more than the copyright stuff. Or we are going the way of the horses at the start of the last century. I fear we'll be obsolete and soon. I feel the new year will be even crazier
